COUNSEL, COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS AND LICENSING Overview:
Align Technology, Inc., the maker of Invisalign, seeks to hire a Commercial Contracts and Licensing Counsel. The ideal candidate will be an experienced mid-level attorney who possesses strong drafting and negotiation experience with technology license agreements, distribution agreements, leases, and development agreements, in the medical device, biotech, or pharmaceuticals environment. This position will also assist in the supervision and direction of outside counsel and provide counsel to internal clients. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Vice President, Commercial Transactions, this person will be an integral member of the Company’s fast paced legal team.

5-8 years’ experience drafting and negotiating technology license agreements, distribution agreements, leases, and development agreements in the medical device, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals space. Top law firm experience followed by relevant in-house experience is required.
