Managing Consultant, Guidehouse Inc., Boston, MA. Manage large-scale projects to address business issues, strategy development and business planning for the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and medical devices industries. Manage day-to-day client relationships and anticipate project scope and budget issues. Establish work plan, resource needs and appropriate methodologies to optimize profitability of projects. Serve as Subject Matter Expert in development of market opportunity frameworks and access strategies, investment decisions, strategic and brand plans, and operational issues. Lead teams in primary and secondary research for pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical device companies. Moderate Stakeholder Interviews with Physicians, Patients and Payers to recommend Strategies. Lead strategic engagements to support asset growth including global asset launch strategies in multiple therapeutic areas, lifecycle management strategy, and strategies to support Go-To-Market planning. Review and present deliverables to senior leadership, executives and clients. Oversee quality of the teams work products in the design, development and delivery of materials, including quality review, database mining and analysis, clinical development strategies, competitive and pipeline analysis, forecast modeling and revenue projections and pricing analyses. Technical environment: Excel, Healthcare databases, PPT.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Biological science or a related field, and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or as a healthcare consultant.
Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:
Developing global asset launch strategy for Pharmaceutical product investments, including strategic and brand plans in several therapeutic areas (COPD/Respiratory, Oncology, Neurology), and Monitor launch including reviewing KPI’s;
Conduct stakeholder interviews (Physicians, Payers, Patients) across Therapeutic areas to develop global opportunity assessments and investment decisions for medical devices, Biotech and Pharmaceuticals;
Design clinical trial end points for pharmaceutical clients;
Perform primary and secondary commercial market research, commercial due diligence and landscape assessment (Market Size Forecast, Clinical landscape, competition, regulatory environment) for pharmaceutical and medical device companies including competitor analysis, pipeline analysis to inform investment decisions in acquisition opportunities for healthcare companies;
Analyze large healthcare claims data (Over 15mb of data) for projects worth over $2m;
Plan, facilitate and summarize findings for strategic advisory boards and workshops that include physicals and KOLS; and
Develop Presentations for senior leadership and executives.
25% travel required.
