As laboratory director, you are responsible for the overall operation and administration of the laboratory, including the employment of competent qualified personnel. The director is responsible and must ensure that all the duties are properly performed and applicable CLIA regulations are met. Director develops and uses a quality system approach to laboratory testing that provides accurate and reliable patient test results. The director will interact, collaborate and serve as a resource to the clinical teams at JVCHC as well as work collaboratively with other JVCHC units to promote and disseminate information relative to the laboratory.
