Research Assistant 2

This position will be part of an integrated team of researchers and senior staff scientists working to understand the possibilities and benefits of regenerative medicine and to develop algorithms (via artificial intelligence) to aid in ultrasound diagnoses of clinical disease states. 1. Providing technical assistance on research projects as required, including the development of medical devices involving artificial intelligence algorithms. Assisting in the development of new methods and technologies, both in theory and in the laboratory. Annotating ultrasound images, compiling and managing data sets, and assisting in coordination of data from multiple clinical sites as required. 2.Assisting with writing and preparing comprehensive protocols and reports on research procedures and findings, including performing literature searches. Data entry, copyediting, assisting in compilation of research reference documents, assisting with generation of tables, figures & other items as required. 3.Assisting with protocol and regulatory document management for both internal and external groups for pre-clinical, clinical and other grant-funded research. 4.Assisting with the performance of surgical procedures, which may include pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care of animals and otherfollow-up activities. Duties may also include recording and maintaining records of surgical procedures, developing and organizing surgery procedure forms, data collection and recording gross observations before, during, and after surgery. 5.Assisting with promotional materials for lab use, maintaining inventories of assorted lab equipment & surgical equipment as directed
