As a Business Analyst Compensation & Benefits, you will deliver high quality support for Abbott Workday Human Capital Management system, specifically the Comp & Benefits functional area. You will work alongside our customers to help resolve issues with Corporate HR Comp & Benefits systems and processes. Collect and analyze business requirements and design, implement and customize business system and standard operating procedures accordingly.
Assess functional configuration changes for impact to business processes, other system values, and integrations. Complete system and user acceptance testing.
Create and maintain Compensation and Benefit plans. Evaluate relationship between plans, eligibility rules, business process definitions, and integrations.
Manage daily support and maintenance of the Workday System for Comp & Benefits.
Assist with the deployment of Workday system rollouts to the business and quarterly releases.
Identify and implement areas for process improvement with Workday processes.
Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain experts and end users.
Configure and perform performance tuning, optimization and testing of business processes and building reports.
Develop plans for system operations and technical procedures for cost-effectiveness and clarify program objectives using optimization analysis.
Work on complex service-oriented architecture design and implementation for various business operations.
Assist with global HR system projects.
Conduct gap/root cause analysis to find gaps & recommend alternatives to streamline process flows.
Document issue resolution in Incident tracking system (Remedy and Salesforce).
Work closely with the project team to track issues through to resolution and resolve queries.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Commerce, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or 3-5 years of application development and support experience.
Deep understanding of Comp & Benefits and related business processes in ERP.
System support experience in Workday Human Capital Management, Comp & Benefits including employee and manager self-service is helpful, and/or support experience with web-based and client/server applications.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Possess excellent verbal/written communication, user interaction & interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.
Ability and experience with facilitating and collaboratively participating in requirements gathering workshops.
Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity; ability to exercise appropriate judgment.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
