Status: 12-month contract
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reporting that supports management's decision-making process
Participate in the planning and LBE processes
Provide financial support to AMC & CFS controllers
Support different projects and implementation
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform various tasks required for month end close to ensure accuracy and completeness
Post accurate and complete JVs within tight reporting deadlines and facilitate management review and decision making
Analysis of various expenses versus budget and LBE
Plan and LBE schedules preparation and submission by deadline
Update statistics reports
Ensure invoices are correctly coded & approved
Prepare monthly tax submission
Fulfil internal audit and corporate tax requests
Work on special projects throughout the year
Education and Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Administration
Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience
Good analytical skills. The information provided to management will be used to make decisions and to take corrective measures to achieve planned results
A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize projects effectively.
Be self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work under pressure.
Strong computer skills and advanced level in MS Excel.
