This role is that of Sales Manager covering France for the Cardiometabolic Business Unit of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics, reporting to the Commercial Director Southern and Western Europe.
This role is an Individual Contributor role requiring the willingness and ability to flex at all levels - from daily customer interactions, to busines development, to country operations and management.
Provision of Management to:
The French commercial business, any Third Party Distributors and relevant external agencies in the execution of the sales and business development strategy ensure accurate and efficient co-ordination and administration of all business
Ensure accurate and efficient co-ordination and administration of all business operations in a manner that is compliant with Abbott guidelines and Abbott Ethical policies
Develop a high-performance team with strength-in-depth ensuring succession planning where appropriate for all key positions/skill sets
Effectively manage all French sales efforts in support of our business goals for the Cardiometabolic business unit
Build trustful partnerships with other business units and divisions across Abbott
Responsibilities and Duties:
To deliver short- & long-term volume, sales, profit & market share goals by maintaining the current business and seeking new opportunities to grow the business
Ensure current customers continue to be well-served on the ground whilst utilizing shared functional services to their maximum
Develop & lead the execution of strategy with an awareness of multiple parameters and key performance indicators
Collaborate with all other functions to ensure strategies are aligned & corporate programmes are delivered.
Development and maintenance of the Abbott Vision, with continual review and maintenance of organizational strategic objectives, by aligning functional objectives with organizational objectives
To work within and demonstrate behaviours aligned with our culture and values.
Ensure the Commercial operation is compliant with all relevant legal, regulatory, tax & ethical boundaries.
A highly driven self-starter with willingness to work in a large territory where prioritization and focus will be key
5 Years in commercial roles in the diagnostics sector in France
Business or Science degree, Masters would be an advantage
Excellent knowledge of the France healthcare systems and larger ecosystems
Deep understanding of organisational development related to market structure and needs
Able to travel up to 60% of their time. Occasional travel to other European countries.
