As a member of our international Advanced Operations (AO) division at the Freiburg site, you will manage a technology division of the AO DRE (Digital Robotics and Enabling Technology) department focused on Platform Technology and lead a team of talented and dedicated engineers.
In this role, you and your team will be responsible for introducing new Navigation and Robotics Platform products for ENT (Ear Nose Throat), Spine, Orthopedics Instruments and Neurosurgical into production either at the Freiburg site, within Stryker Global Operations or at suppliers worldwide.
You will work closely with R&D in Freiburg and worldwide, as well as with manufacturing and suppliers. As an integral part of the project teams, you and your team will be responsible for the development, implementation and validation of the required manufacturing processes and procedures in order to make new products available to the market quickly and cost-effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.
You deliver key programs or projects per associated quality, time and cost constraints.
As a member of the global AO DRE Leadership, you will actively shape the future strategy of the department and the global manufacturing technologies in the Instruments and more specifically the AGT area.
In addition, you actively promote the personal and professional development of the employees assigned to you and support other AO departments with the specific competence of your team.
What are we looking for?
Based on a successfully completed engineering or natural science degree, you have already gained several years of professional experience in production, process development or R&D, ideally in a strongly regulatory environment.
You were able to take on your first (technical) managerial responsibility.
In personal terms, you are characterized by a strong analytical and strategic mindset, a high level of quality awareness, strong communication skills and a high level of proven interface competence.
You are well acquainted with a complex, matrix-organized organization and know how to communicate effectively across different hierarchical levels in an intercultural context and to build sustainable relationships.
As an integrative leader, you know how to get others carried away, to inspire them and to motivate them
Fluent English and, ideally, a good command of written and spoken German round off your profile.
