Our Cardiovascular Division
Abbott is a global leader in the interventional cardiology medical device industry, Abbott Cardiovascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for the treatment of coronary artery disease. Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, coronary guide wires, intravascular imaging, coronary physiology and balloon dilatation catheters.
In the role as Clinical Specialist for Norway and Denmark you will be providing physicians and nurses with technical support during clinical procedures. You will also be planning and delivering field trainings for Abbott employees to ensure that we have the highest industry standard and clinical knowledge. This is a field-based role where you will be spending 80% of you time with your clients. You can therefore be based in either Denmark or Norway.
Provide in field training to Abbott colleagues to ensure we have the highest industry standard and clinical knowledge.
Supporting & driving employee and customer clinical training & sign-off.
Proactively reach out to colleagues ensuring sharing of best practice and technical insights in a way that builds personal expertise and adds scientific and commercial value to the Company.
Provide primary technical support to physicians and nurses during clinical procedures.
Lead the planning and delivery of strategic educational programmes, providing support for education materials and program design
Participate in creating bespoke training programs based on customer needs and requirements.
Network and build relationships with clinical KOL and hospital staff to strengthen our strategic portfolio
Relevant education either within nursing, or other healthcare related field
Experience in a Cath lab clinical role or healthcare clinical specialist role
Knowledge of the Nordic healthcare market
Strong communication skills in at least one Scandinavian language as well as English (speaking and writing)
Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
Good computer- and presentation skills including MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Email
Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time
