Stryker is looking for a Product Owner who will shape the future of products and contribute to product development strategy by converting product vision as agreed upon by Marketing, R&D and key stakeholders into detailed requirements for the R&D. You will Gather Business Requirements to create Functional, Technical and System level documentation. Create Wire Frames and Prototypes as well as other types of artifacts that lead to high quality software releases. Stay at least one release ahead of development life cycle and uses a set of tasks and techniques to work as a liaison across divisions to elicit the needs of the stakeholders to define and validate solutions that meet business goals and objectives. In addition to gathering business requirements, you will also assist in integration and acceptance testing, supports the development of training and implementation material and participates in the implementation as needed.

What you will do:
Uphold SCRUM principles; prioritizes backlog and generates return on investment for product development.
Gather and establishe business requirements from customer-specific engagements, market research, and competitive analysis and stake holders.
Define and document customer business functions and processes in the form of Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS) collected from User Stories, Reports, Prototypes and Work Flow Diagrams.
Own and develop detailed requirements from users stories (scrum team) for product enhancements or as defined by the requirement/use case.
Establishe user story acceptance criteria and accept stories into the product baseline.
Act as a liaison between marketing, customer/end-users, technical teams and other stakeholders within the organization to translate high level requests into detailed design.
Skilled communicator and decision maker who can translate vision into tangible product design and development to help the business deliver return on investment.
Analyzesthe feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
Uses business savvy and collaborative techniques to liaison across product lines and divisions to elicit the needs of stake holders to define and validate solutions meet business goals and objectives.
Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents business rules, functions and requirements.
Lead specification review sessions and validates requirements with stakeholders.
Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
Produce technical and product overview documentation to be used during release overviews or training purposes
Assist with training technical and non-technical teams including, customers, sales teams, QA, support or other personnel on new and existing products.
Manage the backlog for multiple product lines
Actively support the team to mitigate impediments and achieve sprint/release goals.
Identify dependencies, mitigate risks and remove impediments which prevent the development team from accomplishing sprint goals
Monitor burn down progress, quality of work and established standards
Effectively lead and influence technical teams, negotiate and collaborate with cross functional teams and leaders.
Willingness to dedicate whatever time is necessary to learn business processes and product applications.
Who we need:
Three to five years of demonstrated SCRUM and Product owner experience in software environment or equivalent medical space
Three to five years' experience as technical contributor to complex software applications and projects
Technical specialization - Networking and Software Engineering with knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices
Proficiency working between complex systems add matrixed organizations
Proficient with Prototyping, writing Business Requirements, Functional Specifications and User Stories
Effectively influence stakeholders, challenging them as appropriate and managing expectations
Effectively expresses thoughts and ideas to individuals and executives; articulates clearly and checks for understanding
Ensures objectives are established, priorities set, goals identified and timetables are aligned to achieve maximum velocity.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Experience with conflict resolution techniques - ability to drive healthy discussions, understand and resolve impediments in a collaborative and constructive manner.
Proven ability to cultivate a team, uphold SCRUM principles and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree (B.S) or equivalent in related field
Scrum Master (CSM) and Product Owner (CSPO) certification preferred
Knowledge of medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry or knowledge adjacent to the space in terms of process, organization, product and complex requirements
Working experience with other Agile methodologies - XP, LEAN, PP, SAFE'
Experience documenting complex processes and presenting data in a clear format
Experience with change management and helping businesses align, prioritize and execute
