Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, bare metal stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices and peripheral stents.
Our location in Santa Clara currently has an opportunity for a Global Product Manager. Responsible for the upstream and downstream marketing for a new product line in Vascular's portfolio including developing product/portfolio marketing strategy, product communication strategy, positioning, and key messages.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and execute global marketing tactical plans for product line.
Collaborate with regional marketing teams in creation of marketing plans and track execution.
Partner with global marcom and digital teams to plan and execute branding initiatives and multichannel media plans
Manage global KOL relationships and gain insights from customers through KOL engagement and VOC feedback.
Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
Partner with R&D to create business plans and opportunity assessments including financial modeling.
Provide technical and product expertise to the commercial team on product line.
Achieve Global product line sales and margin by driving execution of sales and marketing plan, tracking actuals vs. target and adjusting tactics as needed to achieve targets.
Develop sales tools and marketing tools (literature, brochures, website, and all media), training materials, and field sales and customer communications to support sales and the customer and address any product line issues.
Develop and provide product line training to commercial teams.
Work with a broad array or internal and external groups to assure that marketing tactics are executed.
Assist with the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING
Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years related experience.
Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking and analysis of market conditions.
Willingness to travel within U.S. and internationally.
Product management experience in medical products or services
