23 month fixed term contract role based in the Innovation Centre, Carrigtwohill
eCAD Librarian role supporting the eCAD Library Team at Stryker Instruments in building and maintaining the component library supporting the PCB/PCBA design processes of New Product Development and Post-Market Product engineering design teams.
Works closely with eCAD Library Team to perform eCAD Library Services, which includes developing PCBA schematic symbols and PCB footprints for component parts.
Interpretation and application of technical datasheets and specifications.
Assists with the ongoing development and execution of an onboarding training program supporting engineering design teams and new users of the eCAD CIP Library System.
Development as a subject matter expert and point of contact for engineering design teams for eCAD Library technical support, eCAD software maintenance and licensing renewal.
Help identify and/or facilitate tool specific application trainings, advancements in the area of eCAD Library component engineering, along with sharing best practices with the engineering design teams.
Certificate in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience
Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, product appearance, etc.).
Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.

Advanced computer hardware/software skills.
Ability to read, understand and generate complex engineering drawings.
Ability to visualize 2D and 3D CAD component geometry.
City and Guilds qualification in Technical/Engineering Drawing desirable.
Working knowledge of ProEngineer or another High Level CAD system required
A good understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing
Must be able to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks and projects

Effective interpersonal communications skills.
Motivated self-learner with a high attention to detail and quality.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to execute work activities with minimum guidance.

Knowledge in the use of 3-D Models, SolidWorks or Creo like tools.
