As a Project Engineer you will be the design engineering specialist for the design and creation of Stryker Operating Theatres. You will be responsible for ensuring the Operating Theatre is designed to achieve the customer's desired outcomes and ensure that the capabilities required are achieved as effectively as possible.
This role will see you join some of the brightest and most motivated people in the medical industry as you have a direct impact on health care professionals and their patients.
What You Will Do:
Design Digital Operating Theatres based on clinical and technical requirements
Creating 2D and 3D CAD Designs to Integrate with Architects and Builders
Review Scope with internal and external stakeholders to complete design
Customise the configuration of Medical devices to create unique solutions for customers
Work with Project Managers and Installers to coordinate, and review implementation
Ensure individual actions & team processes maintain an exemplary record of compliance and commitment to relevant quality standards through the use of the local quality management system
Participation in continuous process improvement aligned with the quality standards
What You Need:
Tertiary qualification in Engineering or other Technical disciplines
Technical experience and understanding of engineering principles and concepts
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an effective manner
Experience with CAD systems
Aptitude for handling tight deadlines and competing priorities
Ability to learn Design Engineering computer programs
Experience with analysis and solving complex product integration issues
Ability to travel and to work remotely and autonomously as required
