Our location in Chicago, IL, currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Global Growth Analytics. The Sr. Manager, Global Growth Analytics partners closely with the Director, Market Insights & Strategy to drive a culture of data driven decision making for Abbott Nutrition International (ANI). Responsible for leading the development of descriptive, diagnostics, predictive and prescriptive (custom models/algorithms) analytics solutions to help guide long-term strategic choices and drive short-term business performance. Accountable for driving a standardized way of leveraging advanced analytics across the organization to create competitive advantage for ANI teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges
Lead the development and drives adoption of analytics best practices across global and regional teams in prioritized areas such as Business diagnostics (growth drivers, causals), Category growth forecasting, Strategic pricing & PPA analytics, etc
Collaborate with Regional Market Insights teams to develop and drive adoption of growth analytics solutions as part of ANI's decision intelligence platform (Periscope)
Synthesize key insights and communicate results/implications to ANI stakeholders
Integrate measurement programs (digital, eCommerce, ROI, social listening) and explore novel data sets to generate unique insights
Manage Analytics vendors, ensure rich vendor ecosystem that brings leading edge Analytics skills and technologies
Collaborate closely with ANIT BI & Analytics and Corporate Data Science teams to leverage best-in-class tools and capabilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field; advanced degree strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive relevant experience, preferably in CPG, management consulting or a combination of supplier-side and manufacturer-side experience. Consumer Health Care industry experience is a plus.
Strong business analytical skills; ability to connect the dots on disparate pieces of reporting/analysis and formulate a cohesive understanding of business performance drivers
In-depth experience in analytic methodologies (e.g., regression, segmentation, forecasting); includes experience from pre-innovation through commercialization, marketing mix/measurement, forecasting, syndicated and panel data, and pricing analytics
Deep knowledge of syndicated retail measurement data (Nielsen/IRI/IQVIA)
Advanced skills in base business tools (Excel/PowerPoint) with experience in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI; Data Science skills is a plus
Outstanding communication skills; ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely
Experience deploying new analytical approaches in a complex and highly matrixed organization
Strong project management skills; successfully executing complex projects from design to completion
