Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Brand Manager, Pediatric Innovation.
Commercial Marketing is responsible for multiple product lines and/or a significant business or product line. Incumbent is accountable for all aspects of managing the new product line for launch readiness including P&L. Actions and decisions can affect attainment of Pediatric and Division financial goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive the development, management, and execution of strategies, innovation and tactical programs to effectively achieve commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives.
Lead all innovation activities for the commercial launch readiness of our new product portfolio including P&L responsibility.
Advance the development of innovation pipelines, long-term equity management, strategic business planning, forecasting, financial analysis and project management.
Develop and provide strategic planning and commercial input to the development of the assigned product line. Direct the analysis of the business; oversee the identification of key segment business drivers, priorities and growth opportunities.
Lead key innovation projects within our stage and gate process delivering compelling business cases for advancement.
Execute consumer and HCP market research to identify new business opportunities and advance existing innovation pipeline.
Participate in the development of business plans, identify areas of concern and modify marketing programs to address changes in the marketplace.
Develop and execute financial models, market distribution and launch plans, pricing strategy, distribution/ service strategy, situation analysis and assessment of opportunities, ongoing surveillance of emerging technologies and competitive activities.
Assess new technologies and potential market expansion opportunities.
Present product and marketing programs to Sr. Management.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. These groups include external customers and consumers, Field Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public Affairs, Marketing and Executive Management and external vendors or agencies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING
BA/BS Degree in Marketing. MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and P&L responsibility of the position
5-7 years of progressively responsible product management experience in either health care & Consumer packaged goods or OTC marketing
Translating consumer insights into business results
Demonstrated effective leadership competencies.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans.
Financial and budget management experience and skills.
Strong analytical skills including experience with financial models.
Demonstrated leadership and success in project management.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
