Business Development Manager will take responsibility for building an effective sales pipeline which will result in achieving strategic & financial goal in his or her region. This position plays a key role in managing the sales and marketing, new product launch, coordinate collaboration with distributors SF to maximize coverage of top potential accounts and decision makers, build/optimize and secure channel and ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory and supply chain activities through combination of direct and distribution organizations in Russia.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Develop commercial launch plans for New Product Introduction, product registration process support, coordinate and facilitate market regulatory requirement & procedures.
Contribute to the strategic direction and business development of Russia business, by providing extensive market intelligence relevant to maximizing the market opportunities in its territory.
Develop go to market strategies through direct sales efforts and support distribution partners in the sale of products, including training, sales meeting, technical expertise and marketing support of Cardiometabolic product portfolio.
Identify key influencers in the Region among KOLs, administrators, professional groups, other decision makers, execute clinical excellence initiatives, educational plan, white paper publications, application activities.
Select and manage up to 30 top potential accounts in the assigned region so to drive sales by implementing strategic selling approach (conversion, active IB development, consumption harmonization), alternative channels development (private, consumer health, wellness, collaboration with other Abbott Divisions)
Meet established financial goals (Top line & bottom line) and objective while maintaining territory budget.
Timely follow up and management of all leads that are distributed in territory.
Coordinate and facilitate market regulatory requirement & procedures.
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory science or equivalent.
+ 5 years of Sales & Marketing experience in IVD industry (preferrable) or in Medical devices / Life science.
Proven excellence in both written and oral communication in English (upper-intermediate).
Solid understanding of the IVD (preferably POC) market in the region.
In country experience managing sales and distribution infrastructure for healthcare products.
Capable of developing short/medium/long term sales and marketing strategies across diverse customer markets, implement and drive those strategies to success.
Capable of monitoring market, customer and competitor trends and advising management on methods to improve company competitiveness in respective markets.
Be able to train and develop distribution channel to establish and maintain the ability to effectively represent Cardiometabolic products in the marketplace.
Successful proven experience of identifying, developing and collaboration with KOLs and other important decision makers, stakeholders.
Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with a variety of internal departments with business partners.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis (40% of time)
