Our location in Abbott Park or St. Paul, MN. currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Manager Data Protection Operations and Services.

We're seeking a Sr. Manager of Data Protection Operations to help us ensure appropriate leveraging of data loss products and technologies to protect the organization's systems and information and enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of data related security events. Our ideal team member will have excellent organizational, communication, and management skills, and also be asked to work independently, but to communicate with all relevant employees as you promote a culture of data protection within the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Create a business engagement environment that enables and provides the means for the business to engage the Data Protection Teams for services and expertise
Maintain a Data Protection service catalog which provides an overview of all services that will assists the business in protecting their identified sensitive data
Build and manage a relationship team to oversee "convergence and strategic partnering" across all Abbott divisions/business functions, including with executive and senior leadership.
Create and publish Data Protection Operations and Services Roadmaps, Metrics and Reporting
Ensure that Service Level Agreements are defined, tracked and met across Abbott
Mentor and guide DPOps Lead and Analysts to perform knowledge transfer to other teams as required
Lead the expansion and growth of the DP Ops and Services capabilities by leading integration of new products, services and processes
Oversee assessment of data exfiltration incidents to identify the root cause, respond, and recover/escalate
Experience managing or coordinating major cyber and data incidents at the enterprise level
Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Security, Risk or IT Management, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
10 to 15 years of experience is required. Possess CISSP certification (or similar) and be knowledgeable of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Extensive knowledge of detection and content engineering for SIEM and EDR
Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff up to executive-level management, customers (internal and external), and vendors.
Be available for on-call duty to lead high-impact cybersecurity and data incidents
