M Health Fairview is looking for a Transport Aide in the Emergency Department at our Fairview Ridges location in Burnsville, MN. The Transport Aide facilitates the care of the Emergency Department patients receiving ancillary department services including: transporting patients to Radiology, delivering specimens to the Laboratory, delivering and retrieving materials. The Transport Aide will also stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of the Emergency Department. This position is located in our busy Emergency Department at Fairview Ridges Hospital. We serve a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics. The position is for casual pick ups on All shifts and required to meet all Casual Requirements as outlined in the M Health Fairview policy for casual status.
This position is not eligible for benefits.

The Transport Aide facilitates the care of the Emergency Department patients receiving ancillary department services including:

stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the Emergency Department
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task, take direction, and be organized.
Must be able to lift/push patients to and from the ER department.
Requires ability to provide written validation of current BLS competency (basic life support for providers).
Completion of nursing assistant or emergency medical tech (EMT) coursework
Certified Nursing Assistant or Emergency Room Technician certification
