Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is looking for a
Product Manager Diabetes Care Germany (m/f/d)
based in Wiesbaden-Delkenheim.
The Product Manager Diabetes Care (m/f/d) will be responsible for supporting the Brand Leader with developing and executing marketing projects and programs accelerating the FreeStyle Libre Continuous Glucose Measuring system portfolio in Germany to reach commercial objectives. He/She will be responsible for creating, managing, and supporting cross-functional efforts around marketing strategies, programs and tactics associated with delivering the business goals for FSL in Germany.
Major Accountabilities
- Development and execution of marketing strategies and the development of programs and tactics for the FreeStyle Libre product portfolio.
- Understanding the consumer journey: understand the (unmet) needs of patients / HCPs (healthcare professionals) and reach out to Agencies and experts to design adequate communication and activation plans to deliver commercial objectives.
- Management of the digital services and applications around the product portfolio. Development and execution of programs and tactics with special focus on strategic objectives associated with Digital Health Tools (DHTs).
- Develop and/or assist in creating tools, programs and communication for multiple audiences, including but not limited to Patients, Health Care Professionals and Sales Representatives.
- Manage new product introductions and act as product manager for certain product lines.
- Development of selling, advertising and service materials for Patients & HCPs
- Budget management and coordination of key vendors / agencies
- Actively participate as a member of the cross-functional brand team, and closely collaborate with Sales, Market Access team, Commercial Excellence, Regulatory, Legal, and Medical Affairs as well as international counterparts.
- Develop and assess metrics to ensure efficient program implementation and high return on investment.
- Ongoing market and competitive analysis and development of corresponding actions and recommendations.
- Travel: up to 20%
Education
- University Degree in Business/Marketing, Science or related fields.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience and successful track record in product management/ marketing
- Experience in FMCG and / or consumer facing OTC/Medical Device products
- Working in cross functional teams
- Sales experience would be an advantage
- Ideally international exposure through education and work within an international corporation
- Sales/Pharmacy OTC experience is a plus
- Very Good PC Skills (MS Office)
- Presentation, communication and motivational skills
- Exceptional project management skills across various stakeholders
- Analytical and business acumen
- Collaboration skills
- Ability to build and maintain excellent level of product, sales and competition knowledge
- Very good English language skills, fluent in German
