Our location in Westford, MA currently has an opportunity for a Global Product Manager, PCI Optimization (Upstream) focused on driving the growth of the imaging and physiology franchises worldwide. This individual will oversee upstream marketing initiatives from opportunity assessment to product development. This will include representing the voice of customer, identifying opportunities, and building customer requirements to bring those opportunities to life within our product portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop insights that represent the voice of customer using a variety of channels including qualitative or quantitative market research, physician interviews, literature search, case observations, and gathering input from field representatives
Collaborate with marketing colleagues on product development milestone deliverables for assigned programs, which include presentations to senior management
Partner with marketing and R&D colleagues to shape customer requirements for related products
Work with downstream marketing to support development of launch materials, product literature, and any other collaterals as needed for sales activities
Analyze the competitive environment to contextualize the product roadmap and identify gaps, key issues, and target audiences for the PCIO portfolio of products
Build strong relationships with global commercial teams to ensure the product development process yields a measurable impact on the PCIO portfolio
Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders/ KOLs/ influencers as relevant to this domain
Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required
Bachelor's Degree
4+ years experience in product management or in the field supporting procedures in a hospital environment
Knowledge of ultrasound and OCT imaging technologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization and externally with customers
Experience with strategic product planning and user needs identification for complex product portfolios in the medical device industry
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to drive cross-functional alignment and accomplish projects
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally
Preferred
Experience supporting coronary cases in the cath lab, ideally with an emphasis on intravascular imaging (e.g., IVUS or OCT)
Experience with software used in operating rooms or catheterization laboratories
Experience working in a geographically diverse business environment
