WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are recruiting for a MLR Operations Specialist to own the material submission process, to prepare marketing content before they are submitted for review and approval inside Veeva PromoMat. This position is an office-based role, and will be located at our headquarters in Alameda, CA
Learn and master all MLR processes, rules, and regulations
Serve as subject matter expert for the US Commercial teams to help create and finetune promotional materials
Prepare documents in Veeva PromoMat for submission
Traffic certain documents in Veeva PromoMat
Edit, proofread, and check for consistency and grammatical accuracy of submissions
Simple desktop publishing duties such as fixing typos and minor graphic design tasks
Manage deadlines and timelines proactively to ensure approval deadlines are met
Resolve issues as they arise and implement lesson learned
Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed. Identify problems and work to resolve them
Establish partnership across OEC, Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory to enable optimal commercial compliance adherence.
As needed, work with outside vendors and consultant to execute projects
Follow all Abbott Legal, Quality and Regulatory policies
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelors degree plus 2 years of experience
Quick learning abilities
Extreme attention to details
Ability to work cross functionally and in an environment with changing priorities
Sound business and technical acumen, especially in learning new software and platforms
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Previous experience within healthcare and/or biotech industries
Previous experience in sales operations, marketing operations, or compliance operations
Excellent software skills such as Microsoft Suite, Veeva PromoMat, Sharepoint, OneDrive
