We are looking for an outstanding sales professional to join our Nutrition business in a Territory Specialist role.
Based in NSW and reporting to Regional Manager (Pharmacy), this role sits with a supportive team and would suit someone who loves taking the ownership of the territory south of Sydney.
You would be responsible to manage the defined territory and execute the sales action plan. This includes delivering sales objectives, growing our sales, focusing on priority products and developing a sustainable preference for Abbott with our pharmacy customers.

Main responsibilities are, and not limited to:
Achieving sales targets and increasing market share for your territory as well as providing input to the overall performance of the state
Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients; have a solid knowledge and understanding of the customers in the assigned territory
Develop a strong network in the Territory, ensuring that all key influencers are frequently visited with management. Develop and establish strong long-term relationships
Execute instore checks, including distribution, stock weight and overlay cycle priorities. Work with pharmacies to support category growth, training and promotional opportunities
Utilise internal and customer data to identify category performance and customer opportunities. Understand accurately each Pharmacist's needs and expectations, opportunities and threats for Abbott, including competitor practices
Demonstrate to Pharmacists the profit they will realize in line with Abbott's value proposition
Coordinate on product supply inventory requirements and managements
What you will bring to this role:
Tertiary qualifications in science or a related field
5+ years of demonstrated sales experience and at least 3+ year sales experience in the pharmacy retail sales; proven track record in delivering sales targets in a complex solution selling environment
Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Healthcare (OTC), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and/or Retail preferred. Good understanding of Trade marketing activities.
Strong presentation skills, influence and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the retail Pharmacy landscape, key players, their needs and expectations
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
