The position of Data Developeris within our Toxicology Business Unit located in Santa Rosa, CA. This role will empower the organization by uncovering strategic insight, automating and refining reporting and dashboards, and utilizing data analysis, and statistical rigor to create a fact-based culture for decision-making.
Summarizes data and analyzes results, and independently formulates conclusions.
Leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making.
Develop consistent, accurate, and operational metrics to track the performance of internal teams, including ongoing support/analysis on performance against company key results.
Identify issues within existing source systems, tools, processes, data sources, and dashboards, including making suggestions to improve accuracy.
Understand how existing business processes and practices are reflected in our data and reporting.
Understand the critical KPIs that drive success and design innovative reporting solutions to measure KPI performance.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross functional team in both synchronous and asynchronous project environments .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable reports, and dashboards.
Detail and quality-oriented with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Propose changes/enhancements to the process and drives implementation of these changes/enhancements.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related degree
6+ years of MS SQL Server Database.
5+ years of ETL Tools like MS SSIS..etc
6-8 years of experience in Business intelligence/Analytics/Data Science
Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
In-depth analytical skills and the ability to convey complex concepts
Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach
6+ years of CRM industry experience with 2 + years exposure to Salesforce platform
Salesforce integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools.
Strong experience with SLC documentation deliverables
Ability to write complex, efficient and eloquent SQL queries to extract data and query performance evaluation.
Persistence and a strong task orientation balanced with excellent teamwork, listening skills
The ability to perform well under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good troubleshooting skills is highly preferable
Knowledge of standard statistical methods.
Demonstrated proficiency managing large modeling efforts involving complex business problems
In-depth understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts, including hands on experience building ETL/ELT data pipeline
Strong data modeling skills.
Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies
