Primary purpose is to support HRTS Vertical Leads in implementing the technology strategy and providing them with timely insights into the operational activities.
Responsible for providing both technical and functional expertise to the ongoing operation of the HRTS and/or Workday talent and learning modules. Also accountable for processes within the application and keeping the overall system in sync.
Must have process knowledge of Performance management/review, Goals setting, Development Planning, Succession planning and other Talent & Learning & Development related processes
Responsibilities:
- Lead HRTS Projects providing expertise to Associate architects/Analysts and ensuring projects are delivered on time and are documented appropriately.
- Identify solutions for delivering the most effective ways for clients to proceed utilizing the System of Record as the single source of truth.
- Work with Talent leadership team and other various stakeholders to brainstorm new initiatives and building prototypes for the potential solutions on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness to steer overall talent development strategies
- Work with other HRTS Sr. Architects to identify innovative opportunities to enhance our customers experience.
- Serve as a lead technical resource for associate architects and other functional resources on the team to review proof of concept and/or new ways to deliver solutions.
- Work with the clients in defining the projects scope and manage the project timelines..
- Manage the overall technological aspects of the system setup for the business, particularly its security architecture and design/planning.
- Responsible for identifying impact on Compensation set up in Workday and recommend solutions related to Talent and Comp processes.
- Responsible for providing both technical and functional expertise to the ongoing operation of the HRTS and/or Workday talent modules including accountability for processes within the application and those required to synchronize the systems with each other
- Responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes within existing Human Capital Management (HCM) systems utilizing experience in systems analysis, the design, development and support of HR business systems, and the configuration and set-up of HCM and/or HRMS modules
- Analyze system functionality with customers, identify gaps and support/configure HR systems to meet existing business requirements
- Ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
- Responsible for preparing detailed design documents and unit test plans based on the functional requirements and business processes.
- Work with Talent leadership team to identify and develop Employee learning initiatives that facilitate employee development.
- Provide recommendations and assist to implement changes to existing business processes and to HCM/HRMS systems.
- Lead and Oversee the testing by guiding the team on test procedures, test scenarios, and test cases; execute test scripts; and document and communicate the results.
- Interact and communicate with project team members to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of system updates and modifications into production.
- Lead projects to assess impact of change requests and provide work estimates, and participate in other cross-functional process improvements as necessary.
- Assist project team in the processes and procedures related to the security accreditation of new or modified applications.
- Lead the team who are responsible for solving helpdesk cases and providing answers/solutions for the implemented HR functions of personnel administration, organization management, compensation management, benefits and manager self-service, recruitment and performance management
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in HR Technology space with at least 5 years of Workday configuration/development experience.
- Must be hands on for Workday Configuration and Reporting with solid knowledge of Integrations between Workday and other systems.
- Workday TM certification is a plus.
