Abbott Rapid Diagnosics Division is looking for a Sales and Customer Support Specialist (m/f/d) within our Business Unit Cardiometabolics located in Cologne.
Responsible for all activities commercial and contractual associated with preparation and submission of quote proposals.
Provide support to sales representatives in the field and to deal with customers. Contributes to good customer relationships and enables the field sales team to spend more time selling.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsibility for the industrial development of new market potentials by active sourcing and approach in the German medical segment
- Retaining a close customer contact to ensure a long-term building of customer relationship and satisfaction
- Actively sales of the innovative products by phone
- Information of new and existing customers
- Important contact to the sales reps as well as to several back office departments, e.g. the product management or order processing
- Defining appointments with customers for the sales representatives
- Realizing the sales targets
- Update of the customer database
Requirements
- Experience in the field of diagnostics/biology/medical or similar environment or relevant sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years' experience working in Medical Devices or similar environment
- Education in nursing, medical assistant or biological assistant or equivalent
- work experience in the field of diagnostics/ biology or medical or similar environment
- Ideally experience delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in a customer focused organization
- Preferential knowledge of working with a Customer-Relationship-Management-System
- Ability to think innovatively and not be constrained by current practices
- Experience in working on strategic topics
- Advanced Excel and SAP skills
