WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are recruiting for a Senior Pricing and Contracting Analyst to be based out of our divisional headquarters in Alameda, CA. The role is responsible for contract negotiation and performing data analytics as it relates to pricing decisions for the Market Access channel. The position ensures accuracy of contractual terms and conditions within compliance and process parameters and ensures accuracy of system data. This role is responsible for ensuring ADC contracts are consistent with overall pricing strategies that ensure goal achievement, while maximizing, assuring customer satisfaction, meeting legal guidelines, and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. This position requires a motivated self-starter, driven by accomplishment and accountability with strong attention to detail and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities. This role is onsite in Alameda, CA.
Coordinate legal review and approval of contracts. Spearhead negotiation and redlining of complex contractual arrangements.
Possess the skillset required to assess the sales impact of potential and ongoing contracts
Responsible for managing the RFP process to submit proposals/bids that ensure optimal formulary placement.
Analyze current pricing and competitive pricing to recommend opportunities to increase market share and/or identify organic growth opportunities.
Implement pricing strategies to ensure profitability optimization and alignment with overall company strategy. Proactively monitor strategy performance and advise management of trends and/or necessary actions.
Qualify and quantify sales opportunity for appropriate business contracting arrangement while providing decision support to sales and marketing teams.
Possesses project management skills for leading special projects, developing process improvements, maintaining accurate files, providing timely updates to management, while coordinating multiple deadlines, and providing administrative assistance if needed.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management
Process administrative contract implementations across the Market Access channel, and ensure accuracy of system data.
Interface with other functional groups to ensure consistency and integrity in contract processing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelors Degree required
A minimum of 3 years related work experience, or a Masters degree with 2 years of related work experience
Knowledge of and experience in contracting and/or pricing philosophies
Proficiency in Microsoft Pivot Tables, excel functions, dealing with large data sets
Knowledge of contract negotiations, documents, and specifications.
Attention to detail and accuracy, sound judgment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Salesforce and ModelN and other Software platforms
Ability to understand the organization's strategy and translate into day-to-day activities.
Ability to facilitate interpretation and understanding of data, identify risks, draw relevant conclusions, summarize and communicate results effectively, develop recommendations and implement solutions.
Ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Ability to interface comfortably and effectively with all levels of management within the organization and external customers.
