Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Sr IT Business Relationship Manager (Complaint Handling and Regulatory applications)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- The Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for working closely with Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Quality and Regulatory business partners to develop and maintain comprehensive Complaint Handling, Quality and Regulatory IT roadmaps and prioritization of projects.
- Responsible for IT Capital and Expense financial projections, planning, and oversight
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Closely collaborate with other disciplines like corporate IT, Engineering, quality and regulatory business process owners in the BU. Influence and partner with business leaders (Manager, Director) to manage and align the IT portfolio.
- Resolve issues raised to the governance committees of projects and ensure projects stay in scope. Manage conflict, Prioritize, and Negotiate with Business and IT stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking
- Understand people, process and technologies required for Design Controls, Post Market Surveillance, Management Controls, Process Controls, Product Lifecycle Management, and Complaint Management processes
- Building and maintaining expertise on the IT portfolio for Abbott Diabetes Care globally. Proactively reviews business processes; elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and makes recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing IT technology components
- Champion change and innovation. Stimulates creativity, innovation and open to new ideas.
- Constant awareness of corporate IT standards, technology trends, evolving regulatory requirements and their applicability to the business process and IT portfolio, and influences the IT stakeholders and partners in addressing these evolutions in the most efficient way.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or another discipline relevant for the healthcare industry or equivalent experience.
- 10-15 years of Quality / Regulatory Systems Expertise
- Understand people, process and technologies required for Medical Device Complaint Handling, Post Market Surveillance, Product Lifecycle Management, and Medical Device Product Quality Management processes
Preferred
- 5 to 7 Years of experience in Med Device or Pharma Complaint Handling System Experience
- Experience with TrackWise Digital, Sparta Systems, Windchill PLM, Oracle Agile PLM
