Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Medical Dispatcher III to work overnight shifts, and every other weekend for Livingston-Atlantic Ambulance.

Essential Functions:

The Atlantic Mobile Health Dispatcher III is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services Department supporting the Basic and Advanced Life Support personnel.

• The dispatcher is responsible for assignment of the most appropriate ALS and/or BLS resource to meet the patient and customer's needs while assuring the safe completion of the emergency through superior communication and customer service skills.
• The Atlantic Mobile Health Dispatcher III is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services Department supporting the Basic and Advanced Life Support personnel.
• The dispatcher is responsible for assignment of the most appropriate ALS and/or BLS resource to meet the patient and customer's needs while assuring the safe completion of the emergency through superior communication and customer service skills.

Education

• Current Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic certification required
• HS diploma/GED required
