We provide top quality medical care to a diverse socio-economic community, and as a hospital we recognize that exceptional skills and excellent equipment can only go so far when clients don’t have the funds to pay for services. To help alleviate the ethical burden of turning away those in need due to financial constraints, each of our doctors, and our support staff collectively, receives a yearly charity stipend to use at their discretion for NSAH patients whose owners cannot afford care. If compassion, at root, means to respond fully to the needs of the moment, at NSAH we do everything we can to keep money from getting in the way of our team practicing medicine with integrity.

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of DVM experience but we will consider more recent graduates with the right attitude and interests. We are currently looking to fill 3-4 shifts per week, have the flexibility to consider FT or PT candidates, and can offer a set weekly schedule with no on-calls, ever! We are looking for someone to bond with us and our community, and we encourage applicants interested in growing into a leadership position. NSAH also strives to nurture doctors seeking to hone their skills in niche areas of veterinary care.
