Responsibilities for our Medical Technologists include:

• Performing simple and complex analyses on tissue, blood and body fluids using laboratory instrumentation, manual methods and procedures.
• Approving the performance of tests by technicians.
• Assuming accountability for patient tests with high standard of quality, excellent independent judgment in the performance of standard operating procedures, and utilization of complex instrumentation in varying sample environments.

We’re seeking candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in medical technology; or bachelor's degree plus one year of experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technician; or 90 semester hours of college credit with 24 semester hours of academic science and the completion of an approved clinical laboratory training program; or an associate’s degree plus appropriate combination of training and experience. Candidates must also possess a temporary or current Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in the specialty(ies) required for the job.
