Yours included. The Sr. HTM Technician will be responsible for:
Independently services complex medical device systems and high risk equipment.
Works collaboratively with Information Services Department and other support service departments to manage integrated medical systems
Performs routine repairs on a broad range of electromechanical medical equipment using basic test equipment and repair tools. Prepares and maintains related documentation.
Performs preventative maintenance testing of routine electromechanical medical equipment according to established procedures.
Understands medical device regulation and ensures assigned medical devices are managed in compliance with those regulations.
Participates in inspection tours of clinical and/or research areas using medical equipment.
Documents all service actions and complies with documentation guidelines and metrics defined in department policy.
Builds and maintains customer relationships and independently manages clinical resource area(s).
Consults and collaborates with peers to resolve outstanding issues.
Acts as a technical resource for both colleagues and clinical customer base.
To qualify, you must have...
Two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
3 years of previous experience.
Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
