Job Summary:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for operating and maintaining ALD/PEALD equipment, as well as conducting process development and process related support activities. The right candidate for this position must be self-motivated and have a technical background. Behavioral traits include good communication and interpersonal skills, self-direction, integrity, teamwork, strong time management skills, and attention to detail.
Key Job Elements:
Implement and conduct projects involving ALD/PEALD process development
Provide ALD/PEALD process related customer support
Operate and maintain KJLC’s ALD/PEALD process equipment
Conduct ALD/PEALD process demonstrations in support of new orders
Interface with applications and product development teams
Troubleshoot and diagnose ALD/PEALD process and equipment level issues
Train customers and internal groups on process engineering methods and techniques
Assist with equipment upgrades and/or modifications to accommodate customer applications
Provide detailed written reports of completed project work
Must be comfortable wearing multiple hats spanning across multiple engineering disciplines
Occasional domestic and international travel will be required
Qualifications:
Required
BS degree (preferably in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics) or equivalent number of years’ experience
Strong professional communication and organizational skills
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to, and including, 50 lbs unassisted. Assistance must be used for any items over this weight.
Preferred
ALD process development experience
Hands on experience with troubleshooting ALD/PEALD processes/equipment, ability to read engineering drawings and proficient with basic troubleshooting skills
