Overview of Responsibilities:
The Production Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining schedules for all of the Process Equipment Division jobs, as needed. They will also be responsible to back up all work for the Material Control Coordinator II.
Key Job Elements:
Abilty to read BOMs on drawings
Evaluate all production schedules and determine all required materials and ensure availability of all materials
Maintain all information for status of materials on weekly basis
Review open Production Orders to ensure required dates are met
Recognizing obstacles in meeting schedules and taking appropriate action to resolve
Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials
Review costs for jobs
Use of an ERP system
Must follow KJLC Material Control practices and work instructions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3 or more years of material control experience
Attention to Detail
Strong Computer Skills
Very organized and able to multi-task
Detail oriented
Display a sense of urgency, while not skipping steps
Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Preferred
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Experience in expediting vendors or work centers
Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP system experience.
Microsoft Office Suite – emphasis on Excel
