The Clinical Engineering Department is responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of medical equipment. This position is responsible for providing repair and scheduled/preventative maintenance service on a wide variety of complex medical instrumentation and computer-based medical systems, which may include (but is not limited to) Operating Room, Anesthesia, Neurology, Respiratory Therapy, networked Patient Monitoring (wired and wireless), and general biomedical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
Position will include responsibility for high risk (life-support and non-life support) equipment.
Required Qualifications
Applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position.
AS in Electronic Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology education or equivalent education/training.
Valid California Driver's License
Minimum of 2 years BMET experience
Electronic technician skills including electronic troubleshooting, system troubleshooting, ability to read electronic schematics, perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and repair.
General knowledge of biomedical instrumentation, including computerized medical systems and computer/medical device networking.
Knowledge of physiology to a sufficient level as required to understand the equipment being repaired and maintained.
Ability to communicate with staff and vendors regarding equipment issues with both verbal and written communication methods.
