SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Medical Laboratory Science Program director is responsible for organization, administration, instruction, evaluation, continuous quality improvement, curriculum planning and development, directing other program faculty/staff, and general effectiveness of the MLS program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Master's Degree required
- Holds ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
- Three (3) years? experience in a CLIA certified clinical/medical diagnostic laboratory
- Three (3) years? teaching experience (bench teaching or program level teaching)
