The Scope Processing Technician II performs duties related to testing, decontaminating, inspecting, processing (High Level Disinfection) and staging of Endoscopic Scopes and procedure scopes. Process the equipment utilized for the care and treatment of patients. Distribution of medical devices.Minimum Education:High school graduate or equivalent.A graduate of a state approved accredited school of Surgical Technology/Sterile Processing Technician preferred. Minimum Experience/Knowledge:Two (2) - three (3) year experience in an OR/SPD/GI environment.Knowledge of handling and cleaning of Medical Equipment and related support supplies for patient care.Two (2) years of endoscopic scope processing experience preferred.
