Summary The Emergency Department Technician performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the R.N. in charge of the team or Charge RN in charge of the unit. May assist the nurse in transporting patients, medications/blood products to and from the unit. Responsibilities The position will support all the facilities in the market as needed. May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECGs. Education Required: Technical or Vocational training. EMT Trained or Army Trained Med
