Medical Technician- Phlebotomy
Serves as Medical Technician within the Clinical Laboratory. Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The position is that of a Medical Technician assigned to provide phlebotomy support for both in and outpatients at VA Eastern Kansas Healthcare System. The incumbent will perform phlebotomy, accession specimens, and perform other procedures necessary to ensure appropriate specimen receipt, handling, and processing to ensure accurate, reliable laboratory results. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 01/31/2025. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement
