The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Laboratory Manager to manage a large animal laboratory. The laboratory is made up of multiple Principal Investigators, and the central theme of the research is on how abnormal perinatal and pediatric physiological states impact brain function and brain development in multi-disciplinary projects in multiple species. We perform state-of-the-art and innovative experiments using a preclinical pediatric swine model to study cardiac arrest, brain injury mechanisms, and potential treatments to improve neurologic outcomes in children after brain injury.
