Medical Technician (Phlebotomist)
These positions are located in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at the VA St. Louis Health Care System. You will serve as a Medical Technician/Phlebotomist in the with the responsibility of obtaining blood samples by venipuncture from inpatients and outpatients. Incumbent is also responsible for correctly routing or delivering samples and maintaining records of blood draws. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 03/25/2024. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
