The primary function of this position is to lead competitive market research in the collection, analysis, synthesis, and storytelling presentations of insights to guide decisions for our Global product portfolio and strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Be the subject matter expert on competitive activity, market and industry trends, and adjacent technologies.
Lead and guide the development and synthesis of competitive information for proactive detection of market shifts for the development of mitigation strategies.
Develop profiles of major competitors, including trended performance, strategies, identify threats and opportunities and facilitate mitigation strategy development.
Develop and implement market intelligence system that generates actionable business insights and provides early alerts for market changes.
Establish social listen platform to capture data on competitors, markets, and emerging technology.
Perform hands-on market research for intelligence collection and development of marketing strategies.
Lead competitive market simulations for established businesses and innovation.
Ensure the most sophisticated and appropriate methodologies are used to ensure that Business Unit stakeholders have the most comprehensive understanding of major competitors and market trends.
Establish a productive work environment by creating trust and respect within the team and stakeholders.
Build related business case(s) to quantify the impact of new opportunities within the business.
Translate data and information into compelling insight stories that drive business decisions and growth.
Proven sensitivity toward confidentiality and an understanding of all requirements and corporate policies and guidelines that impact legal and ethical conduct and competitive intelligence practices
